Do the villas have names?

Yes — each villa at Apaulinha has a name, not a number. The definitive set of names, however, is still being finalised: [Information required from developer].

The choice of names over numbers is consistent with the estate's character. A development of nine homes, each on its own hectare, each at its own level and orientation in the terrain, produces houses that are genuinely individual — different outlooks, different relationships to the cork oaks and the light. Numbering would imply a series of repeated units; naming acknowledges that no two of these homes are the same.

It also reflects the project's scale of address. Apaulinha is conceived as something closer to a hamlet than a resort: nine households, an owners' club, two permanent staff who know every family. In that context, homes are referred to the way houses in a village are — by name.

Once confirmed by the developer, the names will be published here and across the estate's materials. Until then, prospective owners can refer to the villas by type: the eight four-bedroom homes and the smaller two-bedroom home.
